Our standard finish is a textured matte black powder coat, which is our most popular and cost-effective option. This finish is highly durable, scratch resistant, and provides added grip in wet conditions. Because it is regularly processed by our powder coating supplier, it also offers the quickest turnaround and best value.

Looking for a different look? We also offer a wide selection of custom colors and textures to match your style. Custom finishes are available for an additional charge.

Yes. All of our railings are fabricated with safety, durability, and building code requirements in mind. We design and build each railing to meet the applicable standards for your specific application, whether it's a residential porch, deck, balcony, staircase, commercial property, or industrial project.

Building codes can vary depending on the type of installation, location, and intended use of the railing. Factors such as railing height, spacing between pickets, structural strength, handrail requirements, and mounting methods all play a role in ensuring your railing is safe and compliant. We'll help guide you through these requirements during the design process to ensure your finished railing meets the necessary specifications.

Note: Horizontal-style railings currently do not meet Ontario Building Code (OBC) requirements for inspected applications. However, they can still be fabricated and installed for certain residential applications where a municipal inspection is not required.

The required railing height depends on where the railing is being installed and the applicable building codes for that project. For example, exterior porch railings, interior stair railings, balconies, and commercial applications may all have different requirements. Typical railing heights are 36" and 42".

During the quoting and design process, we'll review your project details and ensure the railing is designed to the proper height, spacing, and specifications for your application. Our goal is to provide a railing that not only looks great but is also safe, functional, and built to last.

Turnaround times can vary depending on our current workload, production schedule, and the size and complexity of your project.

Most standard railing projects are typically completed within 2–4 weeks, while larger or more detailed custom projects may require 4–6 weeks or longer.

Once your project is approved, we'll provide a more accurate timeline and keep you updated throughout the fabrication process.

We send invoices directly to you by email for convenience. Payments can be made online using a credit card or e-transfer, or you're welcome to visit our shop to pay by debit or cash.
